MASTER’S DEGREE

Admission Requirements:     

Applicants must have taken the Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies Exam (ALES) centrally administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM), and achieved a sufficient score in the test types required for admission into the relevant graduate program. Applicants must take the written and oral exam which are held by the department.

Recognition of Prior Learning:          

The transfer student candidates from Turkish or foreign universities are subject to the YOK Legislation "The transfer, double degree, minor degree and inter-institutional credit transfer" and to the evaluation conditions determined by Istanbul University Senate. The transfer quotas are determined and announced by Turkish Higher Education Council (YOK). The evaluation of the candidates are done by the school evaluation commission and approved by the management.

To apply with a Master’s degree for admission to a PhD program, applicants must have graduated from a Master program. Applicants must have taken the Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies Exam (ALES) centrally administered bythe Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM), and achieved a sufficient score in the test types required for admission into the relevant graduate program.Applicants must prove their competence in the English language via a language exam recognized by the University Senate. Applicants must take the written and oral exam which are held by the department.
